Dr. Arab Hoballah heads the Sustainable Consumption and Production Branch in the Division of Technology, Industry and Economics of the United Nations Environment Programme. He will speak at the European Forum on Eco-Innovation: Business opportunities in eco-innovation in Seoul, Korea, 27-28 October. Ahead of the conference, he gave his views on the top-level work the UN is doing on sustainable consumption and production, the role of the circular economy and the control of hazardous chemicals, which is one element in greater environmental sustainability.
